What is Hydrafacial?

It is a skin treatment that involves microdermabrasion-like exfoliation paired with infusion of various hydrating skin serums.

Steps of Hydrafacial

STEP ONE: Cleansing
First and foremost, the therapist uses facial massage technique while cleansing the face. This not only helps in relaxation of facial muscles but also thoroughly cleans the face & preps up the skin for the procedure.

STEP TWO: Vortex Exfoliation
Our skin cells are dying and replenishing periodically, eventually shedding automatically. Exfoliation helps in executing this natural process in a much better way, so that the facial skin feels revitalized and fresh all along. Since the dead skin cells fail to reflect light, skin ends up looking dull & tired, exfoliation helps in brightening up the complexion. PRE-TREATMENT

1. Discontinue the use of tretinoin for at least 48 hours prior to HydraFacial
2. Do not use any other methods of exfoliation 48 hours prior to the treatment
3. Do not wax, shave or undergo laser hair reduction in the treatment area at least 48 hours before getting a HydraFacial.
4. Botox or Fillers can be done immediately after HydraFacial but at least not two weeks before it.

POST TREATMENT

1. Avoid excessive sun exposure for atleast 72 hours after the treatment.
2. Use a mild cleanser to wash your face for 48 hours post treatment.
3. Make sure to not use any exfoliating agents for atleast 2 weeks post procedure.
4. Make up can be used next day post procedure.
